Mindy D. Yergin is an associate in the firm's litigation group. Mindy represents both corporate and individual clients in civil litigation matters, including a focus in:
- Contract disputes
- Real property
- Construction defects and design errors
- Community associations
- Commercial foreclosures
In her practice, Mindy focuses on understanding her client's needs and resolving their disputes and legal concerns in the most efficient manner possible.
Mindy graduated cum laude from University of Florida's Levin College of Law. While in law school, Mindy was Policy Chair of the Florida Journal of International Law, and served as a teaching assistant for courses in legal research and writing and appellate advocacy after earning honors in these courses. Mindy's third year seminar paper, “Lights, Camera, Malfeasance” was selected for publication and was recently published as a chapter in Lawyers Crossing Lines, a legal ethics text by Michael L. Seigel. In her free time, Mindy volunteered with Three Rivers Legal Services.
Mindy grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Duke University in 2004 with dual degrees in Psychology and Comparative Area Studies. Prior to starting law school, Mindy worked in the field of health care marketing.
Mindy is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Tampa Jewish Federation's Jewish Leadership Training Institute. Mindy enjoys volunteering internationally and locally, and participates in a broad range of community service including the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, the Humane Society, and reforestation projects in the Galapagos Islands.
