
Richard focuses his practice on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on business disputes. He has represented clients in federal, bankruptcy and state courts in a variety of matters including debtor-creditor issues, shareholder disputes, employment law, securities issues, commercial transactions, Ponzi scheme clawbacks and real estate transactions.
In addition, he has significant transactional experience advising businesses in all areas of corporate formation, governance, finance, employee contracts, mergers and acquisitions and shareholder rights. Having owned several businesses, including in the hospitality and technology fields, Richard has firsthand knowledge and experience of the multitude of legal issues faced by business owners and investors.
Richard is originally from New York City and moved to the Tampa area after having lived in Paris, Nairobi, Hong Kong and San Francisco. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French and Italian.
