
Bill is a transactional attorney concentrating in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. He advises clients regarding asset purchases, stock purchases, and business mergers. His experience in corporate law includes negotiating and preparing shareholder agreements and buy/sell agreements, forming limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships, and structuring corporate financing arrangements. His experience in real estate law includes negotiating complex leases, including ground leases, on behalf of landlords and tenants; advising on the acquisition and leasing of mixed-use developments; counseling on the acquisition, development and sale of single- and multi-store retail properties; working with all aspects of office, retail, and industrial leasing; structuring the financing of developments and other projects; and negotiating and drafting property management agreements.
Bill has represented several Fortune 50 companies throughout Florida in complex office, retail, and industrial leases and related matters and recently acted as the general counsel of a retail real estate developer with a national footprint. He also advises clients regarding loan workouts and financial restructuring. Bill’s broad background with many aspects of transactional law has given him a distinct skill base to assist businesses with a wide range of operational, financial, and structural issues.
From 2009 through 2013, Bill was the president of the Villas of Ballast Point Townhouses Homeowners’ Association in South Tampa. A three-time University of Florida alumnus, he cheers on the Gators “in all kinds of weather.”
